Tithes and Offerings

God has given the body of Christ the key for unlocking the door of poverty, the core value of “Stewardship”, “tithes and offerings”. Tithes and offerings is a “covenant designed commandment” of obedience to bless the House of God and the people in the house. This is a Biblical principle as well as a serious practice which connects the favor of God from the spirit world into the natural world. Tithes and offerings changes things, and things change when tithes and offerings are given. In Genesis 3, God commanded Adam and Eve to eat of every tree in the Garden, for the exception of the tree in the midst. This tree was the “Tithing Tree” that contained knowledge of the good (Spiritual) and evil (Natural), the righteous and the unrighteous. The “tithing tree” contained the “lust of the eyes”, the “lust of the flesh”, and the “pride of life”, Genesis 3:6, 1John 2:16. Adam and Eve taught their children about the “tithing tree” as we read in Genesis 4:1, Cain and Abel were born. Cain was a farmer, and Abel a keeper of sheep, both were taught about giving to God a firstborn offering, (1-Tenth) of their labor. Abel gave his firstborn offering and God respected it, but Cain gave dues, and God had no respect for his offering. God said to Cain, if you do well (give right), God accepts, if you do not do well, (give wrong), God rejects. Before the law was given, the tithe was instituted by God, to allow his people to be blessed and not cursed after the law was given. Genesis 9:1 God tells Noah and his three sons to be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth. Noah and his sons obeyed God by building an ark (a tithing tree), that saved eight people and every kind of animal, male and female for the exception of fish, (sea kind). Genesis 14:20, Hebrews 7:1, Melchizedek (Christ-like) gave Abram bread and wine, blessed him (Communion), the Lord’s Supper. Abram gave Melchizedek tithes (10%) of all he possessed, gold, silver, animals, and all stuff needed on the earth. We are now blessed with the promise of Abraham through Jesus Christ. God said in Malachi 3:6-12, “I am the Lord” and “I do not change”, although you have left my commandment and have not kept them (tithes and offering), return to God and God will return to you. In what way can we return to God and stop robbing Him (stealing), by giving tithing and offerings. We have become cursed with a curse, the Church as well as the nation. Bring all the tithes back into the storehouse (Church), so there will be food (meat and bread) in God’s House, Test and try God in this, and God will open the windows of Heaven and pour out such blessings, there will not be room (space) to receive them. The end result is God will rebuke (stop) the devourer (curse of the Devil), for your sake, so that your fruit (children) can not be destroyed or your vines fail to bear fruit in the field. The Church must return to the covenant giving command of “tithing and offerings” so that the world can see “The Church” being called “Blessed and Glorious”! The Church can not afford to have building fund rallies, selling foods, raffle tickets, of fund raising in the House of God. All leaders must make certain (absolute) that all persons holding any administrative position, pay tithes and offerings to the church. Apostle, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are responsible for the saints (members) being perfected, for ministry to edify the “Body of Christ”, by unifying in the faith and true knowledge of the Son of God, and the fullness of Christ. Satan came to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life and give that life more abundantly, by giving seed to the sower. Psalms 35:27 says, let us shout for joy that favor God’s righteous cause, and say continually, let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. 2Corinthians 9:8, says God is absolute to make all grace abound to us having all sufficiency in all things to every good work. Verse 15, giving of the tithe and offerings is the grace that we give thanks to God always, it is the unspeakable gift”!
